This 4 week course virtual course gives you the tools to optimize your health for pregnancy, and navigate the pregnancy journey with confidence and agency. 

My Story 

If you are like me, you decided to delay having children to further your career or to wait for the right partner.  I never realized that I might need to make a true effort to get pregnant.   I also found that having knowledge of how to navigate the healthcare system,  effective communication with my doctor, and creating a wellness team around me improved my experience and likely improved my outcomes. Even though I suffered with gestational diabetes, and had severe preeclampsia, I was still able to navigate my pregnancy with control.  I had my first child at 37 years old.  As a doctor and a patient, I can teach you what I learned in my journey, and incorporate evidence based medical practice for pregnancy preparation.

Course Objectives

A healthy pregnancy begins before conception. Improving your overall health, preventing and treating chronic disease, and increasing your agency with your doctor may result in a healthier pregnancy with fewer complications.  Learn the dos and don'ts of pre- pregnancy planning, and the questions you MUST ask your doctor using my unique P.L.A.N. method.  During the course, you will complete course milestones to put you on the path to good health and fertility.    After completion of the course, you will have a personalized blueprint to completely transform your health, and kick start discussions with your doctor.

The P.L.A.N. Method for pregnancy prep


Position yourself first- create a routine of self care specific to the stage in your reproductive journey.   Prioritizing self, and consistently replenishing your own cup with vitality and energy is key to maintaining balance between mind, body, and spirit.  If you start healthy practices now, continue them through your pregnancy, and after, you will set yourself up for a healthy life!

Learn your cycle - learn your body’s cycles of fertility, pregnancy, and readjustment.  In each stage, We focus on how our reproductive anatomy, hormones, and organs work to get us pregnant, keep us pregnant, and readjust back to a steady state.  We will also be covering considerations for fertility, and lifestyle tips for good reproductive health. 


Ask your doctor  - Prep for visits with your doctor, and gaps in your care.  Become an informed, prepared, and empowered patient in order to make informed decisions about your health, and avoid pitfalls related to racism and bias.  Learn how to become your own self-advocate.

Nutrition & Detox - learn essentials of pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, and the toxins in our everyday environment that work against good reproductive health.  You also have the option of completing a 30 day detox.
