Sexual Health Matters!

Updated: May 13, 2022

With all of the chaos and negativity in the world today, September as Sexual Health Awareness Month comes as a welcome reprieve!

📚Young people may hold misconceptions about what healthy sexuality looks like. For that reason, it is important that we protect the right to comprehensive sex education, and educate our own children about sexual language, behaviors, and images before they absorb distorted images that our society puts out.

Religious interpretation should never be a reason to withhold information that contributes to overall good health and wellbeing for young people.

🍎Even for many of us adults, the idea of sexual pleasure remains taboo, even within our partnerships. But maintaining good sexual health is fun, and good for our health too! Here is a short list of some benefits:

  • Sex is a form of exercise

  • A powerful release for pent up stress

  • It makes us happy

  • Helps reduce depression

  • Helps improves self esteem

  • It helps with sleep

  • Enhances your sense of intimacy with your partner(s).

Most womxn reach their sexual peak in their late 30s, so let take advantage and get under dem sheets!🌊🌊
